MetaJam Asia Web3 Summit

From 26 -28 July 2022, MetaJam Asia Web3 Summit 2022 (powered by Klaytn) was organised in Singapore. The three-day summit was jam-packed with keynote speeches, discussions, and sharing workshops where renowned speakers and business titans like Crypto.com Capital, Trigger VC, Arcane Group, Nansen, Polygon, SolanaFM, Mintable, DBS Digital Exchange and many more shared their perspectives on hot web3 topics and the future of the industry.

Joel Lin - CitaDAO Contributor, joined other panellists (Kenneth Koh -  Tezarekt CEO, Dharni - Tezarekt CCO, Alvin Lim - ARC Head of Community)  to discuss How NFTs Are Revolutionising the Music, Real Estate and the Creative Industry on the 1st day of the event series.  CitaDAO is a DeFi platform for tokenized real estate, built on the Ethereum ecosystem. Joel believed that CitaDAO would be able to bring more value to real estate by bringing it on-chain, creating accessibility, liquidity and interoperability with other DeFi applications and primitives.

Web3 has empowered CitaDAO platform in many ways. “We are trying to disrupt the middlemen, who are extracting value out of nothing”, said Joel. He also noted that by cutting out the middleman, CitaDAO has managed to bring in 30% dividends on-chain, as opposed to 4.1% traditionally. Therefore, by taking assets on chain, the gains can be re-distributed fairly to the owners.

Despite the possibilities of Web3, Joel also highlighted the challenges involved. As the commercial real estate is normally owned by the older generation, one of the biggest challenges to CitaDAO is to onboard the older generation onto DeFi, bringing the TradFi community onto the DeFi sphere.

With all the potential and the growth of NFT communities, Joel believed that the mass adoption of NFT is not beyond reach.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

  • Engagement with Visionaries: Guests had the privilege of interacting with the visionaries behind the tokenization of 18 Sin Ming Lane. These pioneers in blockchain technology for real estate shared their insights and experiences, inspiring others to embark on this transformative journey.

Valuable connections and potential collaborations were fostered. Moreover, it was a unique occasion for the esteemed 18SML0711 token holders to gather and engage in meaningful discussions with the CitaDAO team. They had the exclusive opportunity to provide valuable feedback on their experiences, discuss the future of real estate tokenization, and suggest innovative ideas for CitaDAO to enhance and implement. This intimate setting allowed them to share their desires and insights regarding upcoming Introducing Real Estate On-chain (IROs), contributing directly to the platform's evolution.

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
